Advisory Team
The Collingwood Neighbourhood Advisory Team, established in June 2003 is developing strategies - responsive to community priorities - by better linking and coordinating local efforts to improve housing, infrastructure, employment, education, safety, health and wellbeing. This Team is committed to seeing the local community have a say in solving local problems and shaping the direction of change affecting this neighbourhood by:
- Developing a Community Action Plan
- Increasing employment, education and training opportunities for residents,
- Increasing community participation and access to broader services, activities
and programs,
- Cooperating and negotiating with relevant agencies to improve the health
of the community, and
- Developing strategies to improve community safety.
